Terms of Service

Real IT ("Real IT," "we," "us") operates the website and application at real-it.app, an interactive platform for learning IT skills through simulated Linux terminals, networking labs, Active Directory environments, and PowerShell consoles. These Terms govern your access to and use of Real IT. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for safeguarding your password and any activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Real IT. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm you have a parent or guardian's permission to use the service.

Real IT offers a free tier with limited access and a paid Pro subscription billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Settings — your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide partial-month refunds except where required by law. We may change subscription pricing with notice; changes apply to future billing cycles, not ones already paid.

We also offer complimentary ("comped") Pro access at our discretion, including to team members, partners, or by admin grant. Comped access can be revoked at any time.

You agree not to:

• Use Real IT to develop or test tools intended to attack real systems you don't own or have permission to test.
• Attempt to circumvent paywalls, rate limits, or access controls other than through the simulated environments themselves.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute mission content, or share your account credentials with others.
• Interfere with the operation of the platform or attempt to access other users' data.

Everything you interact with inside a mission — the terminal, the filesystem, the directory service, the network — is a simulation running in your own session. It does not touch real infrastructure and nothing you do inside Real IT affects systems outside it.

Real IT and its original content — mission scenarios, UI, branding, and simulation engines — are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the platform; it does not grant ownership of any content.

You may stop using Real IT and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or where required by law. If we terminate your account for cause, no refund is owed for the current billing period.

Real IT is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will prepare you for any specific certification or job outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Real IT is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
